Warning: The following video contains scenes which some viewers may find upsetting. The video, filmed by a BBC camera crew as part of the Helicopter Heroes series, shows emergency medical dispatcher, Chris Solomon, suffering a massive heart attack after arriving at work feeling unwell. Chris goes into cardiac arrest within minutes, and his colleagues, of the Air Ambulance Crew, and one of the cameramen immediately begin the battle to save his life - using CPR and an AED. Meanwhile, the cameras stayed rolling and captured this remarkable footage.

Whilst this video is difficult to watch, Chris Solomon made a full recovery thanks to the quick actions of his colleagues. An important detail to note is that all of the techniques used by the Air Ambulance Crew in the video are taught in our CPR & AED Course. You could be the difference between life and death of a loved one.

With thanks to the BBC and Chris Solomon
